Getting Ready For College
As school is winding down I am starting to think more and more about college. I already know that I am going to a Junior College in Arizona playing softball and maby volleyball. However, I don't know which one and I have no idea what I want to do. Even though I don't know what I want to be yet I can still start saving and earning money. For example, there are three scholarships I am applying for right now and next month there will be even more. First I have to fill out the application, then I have to get a teacher or coach to right something nice about me, and finally I have to right an essay on why I should get the scholarship. It is a lot of work and I am already stressed in school and sports. I cant wait until I am in college but getting there is tough.

THS Reflections
As I am getting further into my volleyball season school is getting harder. It seems as if all I can think about is going to Vegas and winning state. However, my goal is to try extra hard in everything, especially English, and get good grades. Then, when we do go to Vegas I will not have anything to worry about as far as school. I am starting to realize that school gets harder and harder and the only way you can succeed is to try harder than ever.

End of an Era
Until I read this article, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44794300/ns/business-us_business/#.To3L2Jsr2dB I had know idea what kind of importance Steve Jobs had on my life. He was a remarkable man who changed the world in more ways than one. Steve Jobs is the Chairman of the Board of Apple, which he co-founded in 1976. Apple is leading the consumer technology world with its revolutionary iPhone and App Store, its family of iPod media players and iTunes media store, and its Mac computers and iLife and iWork application suites. Apple recently introduced iPad 2 which is defining the future of mobile media and computing devices.
Steve also co-founded and was the CEO of Pixar Animation Studios, which created some of the most successful and beloved animated films of all time including Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars and Ratatouille. Pixar merged with The Walt Disney Company in 2006 and Steve now serves on Disney's board of directors. He was an incredibly smart man and will be forever remembered.
